- ↑ Hime (姫; princess) is part of Tori's last name Himemiya (姫宮), and 桃 (momo; peach) is part of his first name. With the peach (桃), Ibuki is referencing the story Momotaro (Peach Boy), where the hero Momotaro goes to Onigashima to fight a band of oni. With the princesses (姫), Ibuki may be referencing the oni Shuten-dōji, who according to legend, kidnapped and killed Kyoto noblewomen. Fun fact! This oni was said to live in Mt. Ibuki in some iterations of the legend.
- ↑ Oni are usually villains to defeat in folktales and legends; in Momotaro, Momotaro defeats a band of oni, and Shuten-dōji was slain by the samurai Minamoto Raikou.
